Welcome To LSS-Seminars & Publishing Company

Founded in 1973 by Ted Madson as the Land Surveyors Seminars (later “LSS Seminars and Publishing Company”), the first seminar held was about the Mathematics Of Land Surveying at the University Inn in Gainesville, Florida. 98 students were in attendance for three days and the seminar was a great success.

Following the first seminar a number of seminars on Boundary Law, Surveying Management, and Surveying Mathematics. From that beginning approximately 30 books, tape courses, and speaking engagements throughout the United States were produced. In addition to Mr. Madson, employees have included Daniel Carroll, John Horne, and numerous other professionals.
